• It’s a tourist ger camp located near the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes — also known as Bayan Gobi or the “Mini‑Gobi,” a striking stretch of dunes, steppe and hills in Övörkhangai Province (~270 km from Ulaanbaatar).
• Established in the early 1990s, it’s one of the classic stops in central Mongolia for travelers en route to Karakorum and Erdene Zuu.
