After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive through sweeping steppe landscapes and rugged mountain passes on your way to Altai Tavan Bogd National Park.
By afternoon, you will arrive at the stunning Khurgan and Khoton Lakes, located near the Chinese border and framed by snow-capped peaks.
After settling into a lakeside ger or tented camp, enjoy traditional Kazakh hospitality and a hearty dinner.
Today is devoted to discovering the beauty of Khurgan and Khoton Lakes. Spend your time hiking along the shoreline, fishing in the clear waters, or capturing the incredible scenery with your camera.
You will also visit ancient petroglyphs and Turkic stone monuments scattered throughout the area. For those seeking more adventure, an optional horseback ride along the lake is available.
The evening will be spent in your lakeside camp.
Travel to meet a Kazakh eagle hunter, known as a Berkutchi, and gain insight into the centuries-old tradition of hunting with golden eagles.
Watch a live demonstration of this remarkable skill and spend time with the hunter’s family, learning about their daily life.
You’ll also enjoy Kazakh cuisine, music, and warm hospitality before staying overnight in a local family’s ger or camp nearby.
After breakfast, begin your return drive to Olgii, retracing the scenic mountain valleys. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to shop for souvenirs or take part in optional cultural activities.
In the evening, you may choose to join a special Kazakh dinner featuring traditional music and dance.
